We visited Bonn University where we had some boring lectures. Apart from that, all was fun! We had a walk about and it was interesting to see some of the stuff about Polymers that I have learnt previously at NUS! Applied Chemistry seems more relevant and applicable than Chemistry. Right choice made. *Pat on my back* =)
Downtown Bonn.
Hofgarten (Court Garden) with Kurfürstliches Schloss (Electoral Prince's Castle), which serves as the main building of the University of Bonn. The church steeple of the Bonn Minister can be seen in the background. We sat, rolled and lay on the poky grass, basked in the sun, watched little, cute, innocent kids run by=) Another slice of Heaven!
Historic Town Hall of Bonn (view from the market square).
Sterntor (star gate), a reconstruction of a gate of the medieval city wall.
Bed of roses=)
This scene inevtiable reminded me of my time spent during summer school at UNSW in Sydney, Australia. We learnt about this plant, which re-grows under suitable conditions after a fire when its pods explode and disperse the seeds. Unfortunatly, I forgot its name=(. Maybe Daniel or Sarah can help! =)
Bonn is the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven (born 1770).
Zec had the honour of delivering Dunkin Donuts personally to Beethoven=)!
Thai Mangoes cost 6 euros per piece! Crazy eh! That's $12! We get it for about $1 at home. Look at how fortunate we are=)
"The rain will not stop us from watching soccer!"
The Open-air concert that we watched at Munich! Fabulous music!
