The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen,Denmark

After my internship at Bayer in march, I went travelling with Hans to Copenhagen and Stockholm after meeting up in Hamburg. This stretch by the river with colourful houses lining the banks is one of my favourite spots in Copenhagen! We were blessed with pretty good and sunny weather during our stay there. We put up at Hans' friend's hostel when we were there.

The legendary Mermaid=) Apparently, some country is gonna borrow this Mermaid for some exhibition according to Hans.

Photographs were not allowed in this free town, which was the 2nd highlight of the trip. Grafities were all over and they amazingly look NICE! People idling around, fire, beer bottles etc were a common sight. So are these the things people do when they get FREEDOM? Dont we already have freedom even in our daily lives? Having the freedom to dream and follow our dreams? Freedom is the ability to make conscious choices and live a meaningful life to me. Not idlling around, drinking and drugging.

An endless road that we crossed in search of the windmills that seemed so near yet so far. A long cold  walk awaited us...

The industrial skyline along the river...

A satisfied man who gains happiness from merely witnessing the production of clean energy. Admiration. Go for it Hans! Your dreams will coem true one day! Never give up!
I never regretted the walk. Sorry for being annoying for a while...

The attempt to cycle to a castle which never came through due to a faulty bicycle chain that Auto disconnects. Well, I had hands on training and alot of practices with fixing bicycle chains. Sometimes we learn best when we are forced to ;)

A nice house on the way to our deer-hunting adventure....

The Trains in Copenhagen... schick!

A random toilet=)

The first 7-11 that i have seen in Europe.. Definitely worth a picture!

Picture perfect!

The Black Diamond Library which housed us for our afternoon siasta!

The study area! Look so Harry Potterisch!

Those guys burst out laughing and became shy when they realised that I was taking a picture, "not of them" !
