Eis Hockey

My first time at an Ice Hockey game on a Friday night with other interns! It was an eye-opening experience! First Impression: Violent Game! They just ramp into one another and a few got into fights like just 5 min into the game! They just wacked and punch their opponents! To think that I used to think that handball was a violent game!

Paid 15euros for the match coz cheaper tix got sold out like hot cakes.. a little ex but worth it for a once in a life time experience. The game was between Frankfurt and Mannheim(i think) and we won 4-2. Frankfurt's ice hockey team is suppose to be quite strong... Somehow the game apeared to be a little unfair, maybe coz it was a home game with ALOT of Frankfurt loyal supporters and also the referees appeared quite biased-always penalising the opponents.. tsk tsk..

The atmosphere was quite good-many people wearing baggy Ice Hockey Jerseys...
Grand opening with disco lights and good music where the players skate out between two rows of "sexy" cheer leaders. They din look that great to me! haha.. the English guys tot that they were ugly.. haha..
It was awesome after a while whne more people had more "Fire Sticks" out! =)
United cheering with drum beats and fans waving their scarfs frantically.....
Cheer leaders-silly stunns, feels abit extra and off and not very appealing either....

A cool hat that we saw... This man was HUGE horizontally and vertically! unlike me ;)
