The Swedish Crayfish Experience

First of all, a HUGE thanks to Sami for inviting us to an Exchange Student Gathering. It was quite an honor to be invited as the rest of them were Sweds except a gal from Finland=) It really feels like a semester of exchange in Singapore. I am enjoying it. Working hard at school and having fun when I am done and exploring Singapore at the same time=)

The amount of crayfish they ate was CRAZY. It was about 3 full woks of crayfish, nicely done and tasty but it was hell load of work just getting the small bit of flesh out. If you think that crabs are bad, try this! It was nice eating crayfish again, after a long long while. My last time was probably when Marina Steamboat still existed! Ancient!

The plate usually gets heap messier and soggier! =)

The Sweds drank snups like water! haha.... The coolest thing was that they sang songs (old folk traditional swedish songs) before every drink! How cool is that!

Christopher, who is 1.98m, was super enthu and he initiated and led most of the singing. (I was standing straight in the photo!)

I bet he knew all the songs like a JukeBox! He was a Profi at crayfish! He was teaching all the other Sweds how to eat cryafish and getting the flesh out was totally effortless for him! He even enlightened Sami on 1)the parts of the crayfish that could be eaten and 2)the fastest technique of getting the flesh out! haha.... The Master of the master! Zai!
