The world famous Spanish dish paella originated around Valencia. The city contains a dense monumental heritage (including the Lonja de la Seda, but its landmark is undoubtedly the City of Arts and Sciences an avant-garde and futuristic museum complex.
The Turia River was diverted in the 1960s, after severe flooding, and the old river bed is now the Turia gardens, which contain a children’s playground, a fountain, and sports fields. The Palau de la Música is adjacent to the Turia gardens and the City of Arts and Sciences lies at one end.
A Veg/Fruit and Meat market! Schinken(Ham), Olives, Olive oil, cheese, Wine and Sangria(a fruit wine) is a BIG thing in Spain =)

Valencia was nice! Roamed the old and futuristic part of the city, the park with mountain of music, lying on the sunny beaches with naked babes (dont drool guys out there), shopping, good food, nice accom with swimming pool and buffet breakfast! What an enjoyment!
Enjoyment is only real when shared.
An important attitude is needed for travelling. Some people travel with great stress, rushing from one place to another, continue travelling even when they have reached saturation and this totally defeats the purpose to travelling and being out there! There is no need to rush through things.
